This sport has a lot of history but, mostly tradition. Going back into the 1900's the distance of the track was measured in yards. In our time now we considered this event to be called the 200meter dash. Back then it was called, the 200 yard dash. Which made a huge difference. Another event tittle was renamed. In which we all as athletes call the 400 meter dash. Over the time this event was considered to be a middle distance race. Anybody who has run this race knows it takes so much hard work and preparation.
Everyone knows that this event is the most competitive event in Track and Field.
